Monitoring JMS Usage within an application

Introducing: JMS Wrappers

It allows you to easily monitor usage of your JMS connections, sessions, producers, and consumers using JMX.

How to use:

When retrieving a JMS Connection for your application:

public static Connection getJMSConnection() {
 Connection realConnection = xxx;
 Connection connection = new WrapOMatic().wrap(realConnection);
}

A little more information...

If you can identify under what circumstances your connections are used:

public static Connection getJMSConnection(String nameForDisplayPurposes) {
 Connection realConnection = xxx;
 Connection connection = new WrapOMatic().wrap(new NamedConnection(nameForDisplayPurposes, realConnection));
}

This is being used in production in a couple of places, with very positive results.

JCA Connection Factory stuff - this is a little harder, as many providers check class names
